PERFORMANCE:
How good is this gun? If you need to feel secured, then this handgun answers your needs. With over 2,000 rounds of ammunition fired, only 3 jams were encountered and all were related to ammo failure. It fits ergonomically to anyone's hand even a small handed lady can grip it comfortably without sacrificing magazine capacity. Though a bit heavy than the polymer weapons, it sure helps to stabilize the recoil especially in rapid fire; this is no bad side though compared to the usual 1911A1 models holding only 8 rounds and still weighs around 36 oz. - 39 oz. Operation of this weapon is super friendly. One can operate this gun safely without the user's manual, but it will always be best to consult the user's manual for your safety and best care of your weapon. In terms of accuracy, considering I am a beginner, I can easily hit a 6 inched metal plate at 25 yards with a single shot using both hands but with no hand supports. At 10 yards using FMJ slugs, I was able to put a 5 round group under 2 inches. Some handguns would have feeding problems when using certain types of slug (FMJ, LRN, Semi-Wadcutter, and etc...). I have used the FMJ, LRN, and Semi-wadcutter and no feeding problems were encountered.
EXTERNAL PARTS OF THE WEAPON:

B. Slide - The part which goes back and forth when you fire the weapon.
C. Slide Lock - Hold your slide open when the last round is fire or when purposely locking the slide open.

E. Frame Mounted Safety / Manual Safety - Located at the upper portion of the frame. This locks the trigger mechanism of the gun so it cannot be triggered.
F. Rear Sight
G. Hammer - The part which strikes the firing pin when you pull the trigger.

R. Frame - The entire lower portion other than the slide.
S. Take Down Pin - A protrusion located at the right side of the frame just above the trigger which holds the barrel and slide in place. This is a connection of the slide lock.
T. Slide Serrations - This allows for better griping of the slide when you cock the weapon.
BASIC INTERNAL PARTS OF THE WEAPON:
A. Barrel - Cylindrical hollow metal where the bullet passes when it is fired from the gun.
B. Barrel Lug - Notches found at the top of the chamber which hold the barrel in place with the slide.
C. Barrel Link - An extension of the barrel just bellow the chamber which is locked in place by the take down pin in order to hold the barrel in place with the frame.
D. Chamber - A bigger hollow in the barrel where the ammunition is stored when you cock the weapon.
E. Recoil Spring Guide - Guides the recoil spring in place during action.

For dismantling and assembling the weapon, it is always best to consult the user's manual, but the pictures below may provide an idea on how to dismantle the weapon:
1. Always remember to treat all weapons loaded, so always points it to a safe place away from any unwanted target.
2. Before disassembling the handgun, make sure the weapon is unloaded and not chambered by removing the magazine or making sure the magazine well is empty (Fig. 1) and while holding the weapon pointed at a safe direction, pull the slide to the rear and check if the chamber is empty (Fig. 2). After checking the chamber, pull the trigger with the muzzle pointed at a safe direction. This is to check if the chamber really is empty because some extractors would fail to extract the ammo from the chamber making the gun look as if it is not chambered.

3. Never forget to turn the manual safety on (Fig. 3).
4. You can now start dismantling the weapon by pulling the hammer with your thumb (Fig.3).
Fig. 3
5. Pull the slide to the rear enough to align the two small dots located at the lower rear left side of the slide and upper rear left side of the frame (Fig. 4).
Fig.4
6. While maintaining the alignment of both small dots, push the take down pin which basically is a continuation of your slide lock. It is located at the right side of the gun just above the trigger. It protrudes a bit from the frame. You have to use two of your thumbnails' edge as this part is a bit hard to push. Hold your finger nails perpendicular so it will not bend (Fig. 5).
Fig 5
7. After the pin is pushed, the slide lock at the left side of the gun will protrude. Maintaining the alignment of the dots, pull out the slide lock (Fig. 6).

8. With the slide lock out, push the slide forward with your thumb (Fig. 7).

9. Pull the slide until it is detached from the flame (Fig. 8).

10. Hold the slide up-side-down. With your thumb, push the recoil spring-guide forward and while maintaining the pressure, gently lift the guide up and gently release the pressure from the thumb (Fig. 9).
